Dear Lakeshore Enthusiast,
After many years in the lakeshore development business, developing property in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, I saw a need to connect the serious lakeshore buyers and sellers with the committed and educated lakeshore agents. These real estate agents, who focus on selling lake homes, cottages, lake cabins, or lake lots, better understand the needs of the sophisticated lakeshore buyers and sellers.
I also saw how lakeshore properties brought families together, sharing common experiences or memories. My family has a cabin on Cross Lake (Crosslake, MN) and my wife Alissa's parents have their lake home on Ten Mile Lake (Hackensack, MN), and my grandparents had cabins on Lake Mille Lacs (Garrison, MN) and Cross Lake by Pine City, Minnesota. So, needless to say, lakeshore is something that runs deep in my roots and I'm extremely passionate about its many uses.
As a result, there are three aspects to Lakeshoredreams.com. First, is our Printed Publication, the "Lake Home and Cabin Guide". This publication offers insight into different areas through various feature articles, and also provides a fun, hands on approach to searching for that perfect place. You can pick it up at various distribution points or subscribe and have it mailed directly to your home. Second, is our Online Magazine-LakeshoreDreams.com. Here you can create your own myLakeshoreDream account and have access to thousands of additional listings. And thirdly, we provide Continuing Education through events such as our "2007 Lakeshore Summit". All three of these aspects allow us to educate and inform lakeshore buyers and sellers about the unique challenges and opportunities surrounding lakeshore real estate.
Our goal is that this site will not simply be a search tool for lakeshore or recreational land properties. Instead we hope to educate buyers and sellers, create an online lakeshore community (through our blog and events calendar), and bring families together at their lake cabin or home.
So whether you are looking at buying or renting a cottage in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota or South Dakota, our desire is that this site will greatly assist you in finding your lakeshore dream.
Thank you for visiting LakeshoreDreams.com.
God Bless,
Eric Canfield (Founder/Owner)
