All cabins have inside plumbing and wash room. Since this remote area is, as yet, unspoiled by commercial power, all lights, refrigerators, stoves and heaters are gas. Each cabin is furnished with dishes, kettles, silverware, cooking utensils, blankets and pillows. Guests need to supply their own sheets, pillowcases and towels, as well as soap, detergent and paper products.

| We are located just 17 miles from the Tahquamenon Falls. The Taquamenon River was made famous in the Longfellow poem Hiawatha. According to Indian lore, the origin of the name Tahquamenon is attributed to the water's amber color. It is the largest waterfall east of the Mississippi, second in size to Niagara. |
