| Thank you does not seem like enough. These people risk their lives every day to save lives and homes. They are heroes to all of us I am sure. Sincere appreciation to all of you who are working on saving this most sacred place. I live in Port Huron and have yet to hear one thing on the Detroit stations about this fire. If it wasn't for the message boards like this one and on Topix I would not have any info. Oh yes, and the DNR hotline has been awesome. Thank you again. Going to Curtis on Saturday and will be tuned into 96.7. |

| Thank you!!!!!! I am a member of the Spile Dam Club located just north of Newberry. The fire is about 1 Mile from our cabin and these are tense times.
