Oswald's Bear Ranch boasts four large habitats:
1/3 mile perimeter
1/4 mile perimeter
1/2 mile perimeter
1/2 mile perimeter
All of these gigantic fenced in enclosures contain the bears' natural habitat. Click here to see the Black Bear Falls. We also provide our customers with a "beary" nice Souveniour Gift Shop.
The Bear Ranch is a healthy walk about and not a drive thru. (We do offer new trolley for the elderly and large groups - please view below) Here you will see the 30 American Black Bears in their unique and natural habitats. All of the fenced in large habitats are well maintained and safe for your viewing. We are handicap accessible. Bring your camera and get your picture with the cubs.

Perfect Photo Opportunities!
Shown here to the right is the new photo platforms. One is located at each of the three habitats. It offers a birds' eye view of the bears and their surroundings. Dean made great efforts to accomodate all his guests and their expectations.

NEW Bear Trolley!
Oswald's Bear Ranch now offers large senior groups and bus tour groups the opportunity to ride in comfort during their visit to the bear ranch. We also have a golf cart to help with those with disabilities.

Largest habitat to date added!
The Oswald's have added the largest bear habitat to their huge facility. Its all natural and everyone just loves to see these bears - a rare close-up!

Tyson
Pictured below is the lengendary Tyson Bear.
He died July 2, 2000.
He was 12 years old and was certified at the weight of 880 lbs. This is the Largest Black Bear in the U.S. and possibly the World. He was a dear close friend to Dean and Jewel.
This big bear will surely be missed!
